A U.S. Morgan and Peace Dollar 2-coin set, consisting of one Morgan Dollar coin and one Peace Dollar coin, each in Choice Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Each coin has strong original luster, with few contact marks. The Morgan Dollar will be dated between 1878-1904, and the Peace Dollar will be dated between 1922-1925.
The Morgan Dollar was originally minted between 1878-1921, and was followed by the Peace Dollar from 1921-1935. The Morgan and Peace Dollars were the two most iconic U.S. silver dollar designs, and have retained their popularity with coin collectors to the present day. They were also the final two series of true silver dollar coins, minted in 90% pure silver.
Each coin measures 37mm in diameter, weighs 26.7g, and is made of .900 fine silver.
