1921 U.S. Morgan Silver Dollar, Choice Brilliant Uncirculated Condition

$50.00

One U.S. Morgan Dollar coin, minted in 1921, in Choice Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Each coin has strong original luster, with few contact marks. The 1921 Morgan dollar was minted in larger quantities than most other dates in the Morgan dollar series, and is slightly cheaper because of its higher mintage.

The Morgan dollar derives its name from the coin's original designer, George Morgan.  The obverse features a portrait of Lady Liberty, while the reverse features a bald eagle with wings triumphantly spread.  The eagle grasps a clutch of arrows and an olive branch in its talons, symbols of military might and peace.

These beautiful U.S. coins, minted from 1878-1921, are the iconic Western silver dollars. The silver in these dollars came from Nevada silver mines, and most of these coins circulated heavily among bars and saloons in the west.  This is a large, hefty chunk of .900 fine silver, measuring an inch and a half across and weighing in at nearly an ounce.

The photograph illustrates the quality of the coin(s) you will receive, not the exact item. Mintmarks will be of our choosing.
