Complete List of French Mintmarks

The table below is a complete list of all of the mintmarks that have been used on coins from France, from the 18th century to the present.  Many French mints were only in existence for a short period of time, making coins with those mintmarks much scarcer and more valuable.  As a general rule, coins struck at the Paris mint are the most common and least valuable, as the Paris mint produced many more coins than all of the other French mints combined.
